Our Annual Professional School Counselor Conference is designed specifically for professional counselors providing services in educational settings for elementary and secondary students. Programs focus on ethics, child & adolescent counseling, student development, group work, at-risk youth, LGBT issues, administration & leadership, crisis response, wellness, technology & innovation, multicultural & social justice issues, and many more.

Programs for the 15th Annual Professional School Counseling Conference are carefully peer reviewed by professional counselors to ensure relevance and quality. Most conference programs are 1.5 hours, however both 1.5 and 3 hour programs will be available. A special 1.5 hour Plenary Session with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will be held on Monday (Feb 10) from 4 - 5:30 pm.

Name Badges & Continuing Education Hours (CE)

All badges must be visible to security and conference personnel for admission to all conference programs, ticketed events, and the exhibit hall. Your name badge will also include a QR code used to scan into programs for CE hours. For your safety, no one will be allowed to enter without a proper badge. If you purchased a single day registration, you will only be able to receive CE hours for that day.

Learning Institutes, conference programs, and keynote presentations (general sessions) are eligible to receive LPC, LMFT, NBCC, SBEC, LCDC, Social Worker, Psychologist, and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology continuing education hours. Programs listed as Ethics & Legal Issues or Counselor Supervision qualify for Ethics or Supervision CE hours, as listed. You must scan into each session within 15 minutes of the program start time and remain through the entirety of the program to receive full credit for the session. Partial credit will not be granted. After the conference, an email with a CE certificate for the programs you attended will be sent to the email on file with TCA.
